LETTER OF UNDERSTANDING

This letter of understanding is entered into this____day of__________________, 200____, in the city of_________________________________by and between HOLLYWOOD ACTORS STUDIO (hereinafter "STUDIO") and _______________________________(hereinafter "STUDENT")

RECITALS
STUDIO is a professional acting training studio whose purpose is to train actors for: film, television, stage, commercials, voice overs, public speaking, communication and self-expression skills. The owner, director and head coach is Eric Stone. STUDENT is interested in acting, performing, public speaking or self-expression and desires to train with STUDIO.

AGREEMENT
NOW, THEREFORE, for valuable consideration, the parties agree to the following: The recitals set forth above are incorporated herein.

STUDENT acknowledges receipt and review of THE HOLLYWOOD ACTORS STUDIO Ground Rules, a copy of which is attached hereto.

STUDENT understands that STUDIO is a training ground to prepare STUDENT for acting in film, television, stage, commercials and voice overs. STUDIO also trains individuals for public speaking, communication and self-expression skills. It is specifically understood that the training does not take the place of or is intended to be any form of emotional, mental or physical therapy.

STUDENT understands that STUDIO is not a management company nor does it serve as a promoter or agent assisting or furthering actors' careers. Furthermore, STUDIO makes no representations that it will seek work for actors and hereby represents to STUDENT that it is his or her own responsibility to locate work.

STUDENT understands that STUDIO is not affiliated with, nor in any way connected with any photography, makeup studio, extra casting services, managers, agents, casting directors, production offices, etc. Although STUDIO may refer STUDENT to various services from time to time, STUDIO will not expect to nor receive any referral fee from any third party. Should STUDENT accept a referral from STUDIO for a particular service, it is STUDENT's responsibility to research the service and agrees not to hold STUDIO responsible if not satisfied.

STUDIO may advertise in local trade papers or have articles written about STUDIO. With those exceptions, STUDIO does not pay any third party to obtain students (i.e., agents, managers, casting directors, producers, unions, etc.)

Prior to commencing training with STUDIO, STUDENT represents that STUDENT is in good health and agrees and understands that it is up to student to notify the coaches or STUDIO if STUDENT cannot participate in an activity that would be harmful to the STUDENT in any way. For example, if the training exercise require STUDENT to dance and STUDENT is unable to dance due to a physical problem, STUDIO expects STUDENT to contact STUDIO or coach to inform STUDIO that to participate in these exercises or activities would be harmful.

STUDENT further understands and acknowledges that there are no refunds for classes, privates or any programs registered for and missed.

This Letter of Understanding is executed as of the day and year first above written in Los Angeles , CA.
