How long you've been a student?  Current student since September 2001

What is the teaching and Eric Stone specifically as a teacher have done for you to contribute to your growth as an actor, as an artist and as a human being.
I've learned so much in the past 6 months its amazing. As a person, firstly, I've learned about myself, learned to accept myself, and learned to be myself. Now I try to lose my "act" and stop dealing with other people's bullshit. (can i say that?) I'm trying to be "natural". As an actor, I'm learning to stop anticipating things and go with the flow. I am also learning how to loosen up. As an artist, I am learning to let my creativity flow and do what I want when I want, without worry about results or reactions.

How has your life changed as a result of the teaching?
As I said, I've learned to open myself up, and accept who I am. I don't have to "fake" anymore, because Eric's teaching has taught me about myself.

Talk about your personal experience of this approach to acting.
With this approach, I now attempt acting from a more natural perspective, trying to anticipate anything, and approaching the work with who I am and what I am feeling.

What are the accomplishments?
I understand the approach now, and understand how to put myself in it. Now I'm learning to actually do it.

Could you describe to a newcomer what the experience of being a student of Eric Stone is is like
You learn a lot about yourself. Not just stuff like how committed you are, or even how good (or bad) you are. You learn about who you are, and who you pretend to be. You then learn how to put that person into your work. You learn to approach your work from the most natural place ever. You absorb the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual aspects of you, and throw them into your work. It's like a major mind blow, because once you begin to understand these concepts, your mind just literally explodes and has, like, a revelation. Then you try to incorporate these things into your work, and you just have fun. Then you incorporate all into your life, and you change as a person, or actually, you become yourself--like you step into your real shoes.

Anything else you want to add or say?
Eric is the best acting teacher I've ever had--and I've had a lot. No one has taught me how to intertwine acting and my life as much as he has. He is brilliant in every aspect of life.

What are the most important benefits you are getting out of this training?
I'm learning to act naturally, and to really put myself in the work. I'm learning a different approach to the work. Now I can act and not pretend. I can understand more about true acting than ever before.

What specific results do you attribute to your participation?
It's mainly helped me motivate myself more, work with myself, and change myself as a person.

What in your opinion makes this coaching unique and distinct from other trainings?
Number one--Eric is sooooooo smart. He knows EVERYTHING. This majorly helps. Two--he is blunt, yet he has a sense of humor which is totally unique to me in past experiences with acting teachers. Three--he really knows what he is talking about. Four--hes not fake. Five--its a different approach.

If you had to sum up how you are benefiting from this training in a couple of strong sentences, what would they be?
I really dont want to be redundant, so just look at all of the stuff I've already written, and take out a bunch of the big words from there and put them in sentences and thats basically how i feel.

Any other comments?
ERIC ROCKS!
