Each class offers an environment where all students will work on stage in every class. The classes consist of Scene Study, Cold Reading / Audition Technique, Career Management Skills (getting an agent, headshots, etc...), and tools in Overcoming Stage Fright (for those who need it).

We teach classes for all levels ages 15 & up (and private coaching for children ages 5 -14) from the beginner to the seasoned professional. The Academy is an on-going school year 'round, and some students have been with us for nearly 15 years. They continue to hone their skills while working regularly in television and feature films, as well as theatre and commercials.Mixed-Level Class. Students will work on everything from cold readings, auditions, improvisations and songs to scenes, monologues and original pieces. Each class is a new and different experience, always fun and inspiring! Please see curriculum: click here.

Note: Over the years, our programs have delivered way above average results with people who (1) seriously intend to learn the craft as well as (2) intend to genuinely respect themselves and the process they are embarked on. "Acting is a way of thinking and a creative way of looking at the world." I like mixing levels because I view actors as individual creative artists with much to give, whatever the stage of their process; they should be given opportunities to work with a wide range of partners.

Private Intensives with Eric Stone: available also by calling (323) 460-2580 or click here for more details.

This is a wonderful way to train as well. The focus and excellence of one-on-one coaching has proven over time to be the ultimate form for training successfully and “according to the times.” Individual one-on-one training provides actors and performers with the unparalleled experience of having a master coach thoroughly custom-tailor a program matching their level of skill, talent & ability.

All classes are professional classes for the dedicated actor intending to pursue acting as a career: Relaxation, Technique, Cold Reading, Scene Study, Character Work, Script Analysis, Self-Expression, Communication Skills and Performance as it relates to the actor and performer. Please see curriculum: click here.

I'm already familiar with Hollywood Studio's reputation and I'm ready to enroll now?

How to get the right professional training.

"A coach takes a personal interest in the actor, whereas a teacher is often more concerned with delivering
a general method to a group.

We focus on the individual
and discover what makes that individual unique. By focusing on the strengths of the actor rather than the weaknesses, self-confidence increases thus increasing the actor's ability,
effectiveness and level of skill."
